Unfortunately, as we al know, the present situation does not look very promising and all negotations have not yet lead to an agreement for us all to work with and keep the logistic process going.
Certificates
We think that the majority of our customers in Europe are aware that export customs entries will have to be made. Also phytosanitary certificates will be needed for all plants and trees export to the United Kingdom.
We recently received an email from the UK Government showing all rules and regulations for import of plants and trees in the Uk which we like to share with you.

Action needed
Can you please have a look at this to see if action is needed from your side. We know many of our customers have taken action already, but still thought this maybe helpfull.
We can of course keep control if all documents are available for export before we start loading your shipment but we have no control if the Uk customers in this trailer, which maybe 10 or more in a groupage trailer, have all taken the necessary action to import their shipment and for instance have sent a pre-advice to the necessary authorities.
In the link mentioned above is written that customsclearance can be done afterwards in the beginning period, but phytosanitary border checks will be done as from 1st January,2021.
Since there is no agreement yet and time is running out please take the necessary action to arrange a smooth import of your goods into the United Kingdom.
